AKIRA consists of husband and wife duo Eleanor and Ryan Smith.

They met in a karaoke bar back in 2012  when they sang 'Video Games' by Lana Del Rey. "Love at first sight" is how they describes their meeting and since then have never looked back. They started singing together in bars and at weddings. 2016 saw their breakthrough when their 'Tomorrow' album won Album Of The Year with the single 'When you're gone' holding the number one spot for 2 weeks! 

Since then, they have experimented with aesthetic and style and have concluded "we don't define ourselves on a set style or look, we want our music decide what people think'. 

After finding their love with each other and their shared love for music, AKIRA are stronger than ever, growing along side their loyal fanbase.

The future is bright for this duo, you could even say it 'dazzles', as their new album release is set to become a big contender for the top spots in the Big Top 40.
