My research began online where most people would start and I quickly discovered that the Saffron Walden Reporter (my local newspaper) was one of the most useful places for discovering an overview of towns history.
When I went back home to visit, I went to Saffron Walden Museum as well as Saffron Walden tourist information, both places gave me some resources and archive material to aid my research.
As I knew I would be relying on archive material as visual aids in my documentary, I needed to find some more online. Websites I used to find these were: https://clevelandart.org/art/1941.91
These were all really useful in providing visual aids to go alongside my research.
